Dear Harold, It has been a pleasure
to attend the San Diego Culinary Institute.
It was definitely worth all the hard work. Thank you for choosing me for the Lloyd Wilkerson Memorial
Scholarship. I want to thank you for
offering such a generous scholarship for ROP teachers. This experience has had such a positive
impact on my life. I have not only
gained a great deal of knowledge, but I had the opportunity to meet some
extraordinary people and take part in exciting events. As a high school R.O.P.
Culinary Arts and Home Economics teacher, the knowledge I have gained from
the SDCI’s culinary program will influence hundreds of my students. Through most of my schooling, I was still
teaching and my excitement rubbed off on the students. It is a pleasure to say that one of my
students will be attending SDCI in the fall and I will highly recommend SDCI
to anyone else interested in a culinary career. It has been a pleasure
to learn teaching and cooking techniques from your experience and highly
qualified chef instructors. I have
already made many positive changes in my ROP class due to the help and
support I have received. It is a good
feeling to start the new school year with a sense of confidence and
excitement about teaching. It is what
I love to do and I plan to teach for many years. The choice to complete
culinary school was the best thing I could have done for my career. I would not have done it without your
